OPEN DOOR MINISTRIES TO PARTNER FOR COMMUNITY HEALTH FAIR
ODM and Triad Adult and Pediatric Medicine host Health Fair for the first time in High Point
HIGH POINT, NC – Open Door Ministries of High Point is hosting Triad Adult and Pediatric Medicine's 10th annual Community Health Fair. The health fair is open to all, completely free for all members of the community. This will be the first time the fair will be held in High Point. This event will be held Monday, August 3rd, from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. in the shelter-side parking lot of Open Door Ministries.
“The first-ever TAP Medicine Health Fair at Open Door Ministries is an exciting opportunity for our community. When healthcare providers and a community organization come together, we can connect people with the care and resources they need, strengthen lives, and create long-lasting change,” said Ryan Ross, Executive Director of Open Door Ministries of High Point. “This event is a great example of what we can accomplish when we work together to build a healthier, stronger community for everyone.”
Partnering and hosting with Triad Adult and Pediatric Medicine has opened their health fair access to High Point locals for the first time, for adults and students alike. Some vendors will be providing resource guides, hygiene bags and school supplies, available while supplies last.
In order to best support this event, ODM has closed the Food Pantry and Emergency Assistance programs for the day to provide parking spaces on the pantry side of the building.
Open Door Ministries serves 18.4% of High Point’s residents and will continue to serve until its mission of advocacy, education, housing, and coordination of services can be satisfied. Items and information provided at this event are a form of advocacy and education we hope locals will take advantage of.
