Holiday Honor Cards
The 2025 Holiday Honor Card
"The Gift of Caring"
This year’s Holiday Honor Card image is a painted wintry scene of a young girl helping an elderly woman. The image was created out of a desire to impart a message that small acts of kindness are the most important daily activity, not just during the holiday season, but throughout the year. The elderly, homeless, and poverty stricken are often over-looked, and presumed they will be cared for by others. The young girl in the image wants to do her part to help in some small way.

Artist Marie Stone van-Vuren’s inspiration came to her in a dream. Marie felt called “to share my deepest feelings about the true meaning of the holidays; how each of us can make one small, yet significant difference to each other, one person at a time.
”The Holiday Honor Card raises funds used annually to provide help to individuals and families experiencing hunger and homelessness. Local neighbors that have had a crisis in their life come to our organization for a hot meal, groceries, shelter, and supportive services
