Winter Clothing Give Away

With winter storms creating dangerous conditions for many North Carolina families, Open Door Ministries is responding by providing warm clothing to those in need.

High Point, NC – The winter storm at the beginning of 2026 has brought prolonged below freezing temperatures to High Point, leaving many individuals and families vulnerable, especially those without reliable access to warm clothing, hot meals, and safe shelter.

Thanks to an outpouring of generosity from donors in the community this weekend, Open Door Ministries received a large donation of winter clothing. To ensure these items reach those who need them most, we will be hosting a clothing giveaway this week, starting February 3rd, 12pm-3pm daily while supplies last. All community members are welcomed to stop by during the time window and select clothing as needed. No paperwork or application needed; no questions asked.
